The series «I REALLY WANNA TAKE YOU DOWN» consists of archival images - photographed by the artist - that trigger a play with context. The artist shows images and leaves open what they tell. The artist was inspired by the discourse in the book «Evidence» by Larry Sultan and Mike Mandel. In this book, evidence photos from various institutions were compiled without explanation. In «I REALLY WANNA TAKE YOU DOWN», too, the lack of background information - both written and visual - invites the viewer to put the images into context.
