This work evolved from the title, which initially stood next to a dog drawing in the artist's sketchbook. “My dog is my sun, my pissing sun. I love him to the moon, he loves me back and forth.” tells a story whose original protagonists are missing from the physical work. Schüpbach thus plays with gaps in a humorous and poetic way and refers to dependencies: Someone doesn't take their pet for a walk, so the dog stays at home and the column pisses back alone.
